The Mountain Guides have, for the past several days, secured the competition face and will continue Saturday before the riders’ binocular inspection of the face, scheduled for 2 pm. The last few days of snowfall promise excellent conditions on the competition face.

Programme Nissan Freeride de Chamonix-Mont-Blanc:
> Friday 29 January: OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NISSAN FREERIDE DE CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC
6 pm Opening Ceremony and Bib Draw at Street Fair in the centre of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.
> Saturday 30 January: RIDERS’ MOUNTAIN INSPECTION
2 pm Inspection of the face with binoculars from below the face - if condititions allow. The inspection could be postponed to Sunday morning before the competition (if poor visibility Saturday).
> Sunday 31 January: COMPETION DAY
10 am - 1 pm Competition « Pentes de l’Hôtel » (Brévent Ski Area)
2 pm Prize Giving Ceremony at contest site
6 pm Prize Giving Ceremony at Street Fair, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc centre

ACCESS to Spectator Area, View of the Entire Competition Face:
For spectators a FWT village will be installed at the foot of the competition face.
Take the « Plan Praz » gondola at the Brévent ski area. Take the chair lift La Parsa and then go down the blue piste Blanchot to the 6th marker. Traverse to FWT Village (with FWT signs).

EVENT VILLAGE IN CHAMONIX: The event village at the heart of the city centre is open to the public: Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January from 3pm to 7pm.
